Descrição: The Sims 2 é um jogo de computador de simulação onde a sequência acontece em um ambiente completamente 3D e foi lançado ao mercado no ano 2004. Ele caracteriza-se por ser um videogame social onde você se encontra vivenciando um personagem chamado Sim, o qual realiza tarefas de pessoas reais, como comer, trabalhar, estudar, sair com amigos, crescer e etc. Os personagens são tão reais devido a inclusão da genética, já que com o DNA eles passam por gerações, dando aos jogadores a experiência de um jogo mais vivo e realista.
Os personagens principais são justamente os "Sims". Eles serão controlados durante sua etapa de crescimento, tendo como objetivos conseguir certas metas e sonhos. Cada um deles se diferenciará através das personalidade, relações, trabalhos e estudos.
Existem vários pacotes de expansão para o The Sim 2, entre eles: The Sims 2: Vida de Universitário, The Sims 2: Vida Noturna, The Sims 2: Aberto para Negócios, The Sims 2: Bichos de Estimação, The Sims 2: Pacote festa de Natal, The Sims 2: Diversão em família, The Sims 2: Glamour.
